So I was watching Halloween on TV the other night (the 1978 version, much less scary then you would expect!). And when Michael Myers first attacks Laurie she reaches into her knitting bag, grabs a needle and stabs him in the neck! Not that it did her any good, he comes right back to life, but it bought her a few minutes. I had my knitting basket next to the couch when I was watching and thought that was great. I can't find a picture online though :( I'll have to hope someone will hook me up with that someday.
